While testing the fix for Issue 10291, I observed inconsistencies with the default Postfix configuration on a fresh OS install (prox34). The steps to reproduce the issue, along with logs and sample files, are included in the error-repro folder. The proposed fix has been tested using the files in error-fix.
Steps to Reproduce:
Set up a fresh OS instance (prox34).
Apply default Postfix installation/configuration.
Use the files from error-repro to reproduce the issue.
Check the generated logs for errors.
Expected Behavior: Postfix should work correctly with default configurations without generating the logged errors.
Observed Behavior: Errors occur during testing as noted in the logs.
Proposed Fix: Tested using the files in error-fix. Steps and notes are in testing-notes.md.
