Currently the:

- collection
- ini
- refarray
- basicobj

do not use libcheck. The development happens on RHEL5 and it does not have a compatible version of the libcheck. Once the development is moved to a later version it makes sense to revisit the unit tests for these packages and redo them using libcheck.
