Attending Nullcon 2018 would enable me to address the issue of Fedora user base in Linux through setting up a booth and encouraging youths for package managers.
The Tibetan community has seen an increasing number of Fedora users and I also plan to host a release party for Fedora 28 later this year at TCV school ( one of the largest Tibetan school ) with around 400 senior students would be a great way to spread Fedora Linux.
I will also be meeting with @jsimon and Fabian to discuss the future plans and project for Fedora and Tibetan community.

Hello Tenzin,
Do you plan to give a talk as well at nullCon '18? I don't think there is going to be a Fedora booth there.
i would like to support Chokden´s request - it is the only real chance for me and Fabian to meet him in person and give him the needed advice - traveling to Dharamsala as an alternative would be more expensive and time consuming. As an Ambassador to the tibetan community in Dharamsala Chokden is a valuable link to support the use and integration of Fedora into their security activities. His contribution may happen more outside of the Fedora infrastructure and due to the nature of this activities - we speak about a targeted community - not all of it should be spread. If i read correct in the Logs, there was also a request for his last nullcon 2017 report -> http://tenzinchokden.com/nullcon-goa-2017 I travel on my own budget this year to safe costs for Fedora, so i hope there is no reason to turn the request down.
I'm okay to support this +1
@tenchokden: it'll also help if you could share details about your recent Fedora activities in Tibet.

It is possible that we can get the airfare into this fiscal year if this is approved quickly. It is most likely all of this will be part of FY19. We need to get this into https://pagure.io/fedora-budget/blob/master/f/FY19/ledger/apac.ldg if it is approved.
I am sorry to see that this sat for 24 days without action. While it would have been nicer to see this submitted MUCH earlier, it also should have been acted on in the region much sooner.
I will try to attend the next APAC meeting and discuss this issue.
I went to null events before and being a part of one of the null chapter. I am fully supporting this one. +1

3 Acks here are good for approval. I think we should add it to this fiscal, instead of next one.
@bex ...?
If I get receipts ASAP I can try to get it added to this FY. As the airfare is relatively low, I don't know that it is a huge issue either way.
Hello Guys, Thank you so much for supporting this ticket. It means a lot to me. I didn't get any reply to my ticket for 2 weeks and I went on and asked my manager to sponsor my travel and for the event which got approved. So this year my budget is approved my office but I hope you guys will support me in the future and such activities related to Fedora . As usual, i will share my experiences on fedora planet. PS: I didn't receive any notification from Google on this updated email thread, I would have replied sooner. Thank you PJP, Joerg, Brian, and Suman for supporting this ticket.
