#300 bodhi creating ostrees using pungi
Closed: Fixed Opened by dustymabe.

mostly a tracker ticket for getting bodhi to create ostrees by using pungi. This helps us by:

  • only one way that Fedora Infra creates ostrees (through pungi)
  • allows us to get ostree versions of the form 26.20170701.0
  • delete fedmsg-atomic-composer code
  • handle multiarch for Atomic Host

related bodhi ticket: https://github.com/fedora-infra/bodhi/issues/1182

so this work has been decided to be combined with the effort to make bodhi mash run through pungi as well. We had a meeting today to discuss what work needs to be done and what potential blockers exist for this effort. The etherpad from the meeting is here. The action items from the meeting are:

  • @lsedlar : We need https://pagure.io/pungi/issue/344 fixed, or some other way to get drpms into a pungi-composed bodhi repo
  • @bowlofeggs: will verify that updateinfo.xml can be generated separately
  • @kushal: schedule a sync time next week (invitees TBD, probably don't need everyone)
  • @dustymabe, @bowlofeggs, @kushal: Get Bodhi staging able to mash with pungi.

A few updates. I was able to get bodhi+pungi running in stage. This had led to a few infrastructure tickets and some discussion:

  • https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/6193

@maxamillion has volunteered to pick up this work from me. :beers:

Randy, Patrick and Adam were able to push this through in https://github.com/fedora-infra/bodhi/pull/1900. This is in stage now and will move to prod hopefully very soon. Closing this ticket.
