#469 AWS ImportVolume gets stuck mid way
Opened by sayanchowdhury. Modified

Here are a few import volumes which got stuck in last few days -

  • import-vol-fh6keksr
  • import-vol-ffuza9fb
  • import-vol-fgxmcpdg
  • import-vol-ffhkmpsx
  • import-vol-ffzdnft6
  • import-vol-fgwb2cbw

Internal review shows that the volume creation was terminated. I am updating the roadmap with the VM Import team and changing their schedule for maintaining a supported versions list. The list now includes only Fedora versions 19 - 21. The alliance team is working on updating their current supported versions to 27 and 28 with cadence to follow supported versions in the future.

Suggest that the team move from the import-volume task to the import snapshot which is new v2 api.

We are hitting this issue very frequently.
@davdunc Until we move from the import-volume task to the import snapshot, is there any update on getting F28 and F27 versions included as supported versions?
