#511 Entropy blocking bootup regression in latest release
Closed: Fixed Opened by jlebon.

Regression of https://pagure.io/atomic-wg/issue/463 in the latest release (28.20180917.0).

See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1572944#c51 and onwards. Should be fixed by https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2018-f93103ae20.

virt-install --rng random works fine at least for the local case.

thanks @jlebon. we can consider doing another release once that update hits stable..
cc @sayanchowdhury

ok that kernel hit stable: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2018-f93103ae20

@jlebon @sayanchowdhury @sinnykumari - do you think we should do a new release to pick up that change?

Yeah, I think it might be worth it given that the release just went out. Though... I haven't really heard users bring this up yet, which is surprising. Or maybe they just didn't update yet?

I think let's do a release on Monday and we can probably do next release after two week?

I can confirm this is fixed in https://lists.projectatomic.io/projectatomic-archives/atomic-devel/2018-September/msg00009.html.

(Also: woah, new Pagure UI).
