Well, nothing to do as it exists and contains automatically all the sig-automotive group members (aliases are automatically created from fas). :-)

Normally you should have received at onboarding time a welcome email that explains that (see https://docs.infra.centos.org/buildsys/koji-cbs-sigs/#welcome-email)

But I realize that it should be mentioned in the SIG Guide too, so I'll just update the doc there

I'm not entirely sure we would want that alias to go to everyone in the SIG, that may be spammy/not interesting for them.

After discussing with @arrfab the easiest way forward may be to simply create a sub-group, something like sig-automotive-quay and leverage the alias it'll automatically get.

You're the owner of that group so you should be able to sponsor other people if needed
The email alias was automatically created from fasjson query and is already available.

Let me know if that works for you but I'll still update SIG guide about the automatically generated alias for the whole group

I saw through maillog that emails were distributed and so working.
