According to the blog post about EOL, the packages will be moved to vault.centos.org after EOL date, which renders the legacy centos mirror repository practically empty (I think?).
centos
Do we expect the mirrors' maintainers to keep or deprecate and delete the legacy centos mirror after that? Will the official mirror list be dismissed then?
The mirrorlist.centos.org service itself will disappear, not redirecting anyone to the existing (legacy then) mirror network Only the mirrors registered in mirrormanager, and service Stream 9 (and above) content will be used by centos stream users. That means that mirror admins can then delete content from their mirrors (it should be done more or less automatically when content will be removed from mirror.centos.org itself, if people are using --delete option for the rsync, which is the default we documented )
--delete
