#1508 Reconfigure CNAME for autosd.sig.centos.org
Closed: Fixed by arrfab. Opened by hstefans.

Hi folks,

We'd like to re-configure the router for the autosd.sig.centos.org subdomain, we've migrated the web server to another cluster, and we'd like to deprovision the old infrastructure.

We'd like to ask that the CNAME to be re-configured to router-external-router-shard.external-router-shard.mpp-e1-prod.9e4s.p1.openshiftapps.com

I'm open to a proposed date by the maintainers, ideally we'd like to have the domain reconfigured early next week.
We'll keep the old instance running for the time being while we gather feedback on the new instance, eventually tearing down the old host.

Can we announce 07/10/24 as the re-configuration date?

Thanks!

@hstefans : sure, I can put that in my calendar for next monday , as it's just a git commit/push on our side.
Can you give me a time (utc) where you'd like that to go live.
That CNAME record as a 10min (600 seconds) TTL so once pushed it will be fast to propagate everywhere.

@arrfab let's say 1200 UTC, if that works? And thank you!

Implemented :

dig @ns1.centos.org +short +noshort autosd.sig.centos.org
autosd.sig.centos.org. 600 IN CNAME autosd.sig.unmanaged-by.centos.org.
autosd.sig.unmanaged-by.centos.org. 600 IN CNAME router-external-router-shard.external-router-shard.mpp-e1-prod.9e4s.p1.openshiftapps.com.

I see our new ACME cert got rolled out on our new cluster, that means it's routing it correctly.
Thank you! I'll keep an eye out and report back if we need to roll back, consider this issue closed ~1hr from now.
