I have requested for a centos account here: https://accounts.centos.org/user/view/lijiang?_csrf_token=71548a2459c42e71d486b25e4bdf3a9bd07f5c9f . But I can not login to access any projects in the website: https://git.stg.centos.org/projects/source-git/%2A. Can you help to check if this is a permission issue or what does the centos account happen?
Thanks. Lianbo
CC to @arrfab , Thank you in advance.
Well, can you at least give some informations about what you're trying to do and what you mean by "not login to access any projects"
source-git itself is on staging and restricted for a particular group for testing purpose so except if you're a RH employee (and they are moving to gitlab afaik) I don't understand your request

Also, the git.stg.centos.org was moved to new auth system, so accounts.stg.centos.org, so not at all linked anymore with accounts.centos.org Again, I asked packit team (sent mail to @ttomecek about this in december) to verify that it was working fine for them
Thank you for the response. And sorry about this, I forgot to provide more details.
I'm maintaining the crash utility in Fedora, and will also maintain it in RHEL(will take this part from Bhupesh).
When I open the following website(https://git.stg.centos.org/rpms/crash) and to click the Log In button, it will skip the following link: https://id.stg.centos.org/idp/login/gssapi/negotiate?ipsilon_transaction_id=8b913fdb-883b-4d37-a37a-8fc1b093c85c and require to input the username and password, I have tried to login with my centos account and passwd(https://accounts.centos.org/user/view/lijiang?_csrf_token=71548a2459c42e71d486b25e4bdf3a9bd07f5c9f). And then it only printed a message as below: "OpenID request was cancelled"
I'm not sure if the above information is helpful for you.
well, what I said : authentication for staging was already merged with Fedora/IPA so pointing to accounts.stg.centos.org If you just created your account on accounts.centos.org, it wasn't probably merged through the fas2ipa script ran initially by Fedora team I guess you can't login through https://accounts.stg.centos.org ?
Also, you should contact @ttomecek as git.stg.centos.org was a temporary test and will probably disappear soon So if your work is related to source-git , and that it's moving to gitlab, you should first discuss with him about your plan as it seems you're confused with the current setup
Yes, I can not login through https://accounts.stg.centos.org, and I got the following messages: Unauthorized: bad credentials.
I just talked with him(Tomas) about the above failure of centos account, and Tomas told me that I can ask you about this issue. :-)
Can you help to provide a right document link? That can give me more details about how to get started and which one is the right repo. I'm reading this one: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1775LH20y1HbV7ybtQoMNNadrV0iM0pffMc0KnQTWXSQ/edit#heading=h.6msxgn74so1y.
@ttomecek can you comment here, as it seems there is confusion PS : I don't think Fedora plans on kicking import script again for staging but maybe worth asking them PS2 : as long as your account will not be able to login on https://accounts.stg.centos.org you'll never be able to login on https://git.stg.centos.org (simple) .. if you had a FAS account, it's probably still there and you can try to recover password option, but waiting first on @ttomecek info before proceeding with anything (also myself busy on Stream infra project so just having a look here when I have time)

Can't @lijiang create a new account on accounts.stg ?
@pingou: Fedora AAA team decided to close registration on STG for now before reaching out to fedora team for this, let's first undertstand and validate the request about git.stg.centos.org as I'm not even sure that it's really where it should be happening, so let's wait for @ttomecek to drive conversations and come back with requirements before investigating further
Hi Lianbo, what exactly are you trying to achieve?
The repositories https://git.stg.centos.org/projects/source-git/%2A are waiting there to be migrated to GitLab once that's available which I hope will only be a few more weeks. Sorry about the issues you are facing.
If you wanna play with some source-git repos, we can set them up for you on GitHub or GitLab.com given the authentication migration on stg.
as git.stg.centos.org was a temporary test and will probably disappear soon
well, that's new for me to be honest, please don't close it just yet so that we can migrate those repos to the Stream's GitLab
@ttomecek when I said "temporary test" it's because git.stg.centos.org was where we were ourselves testing the migration to pagure (for real git.centos.org) and then it stayed as kind of simple pagure env just to test pre-upgrade and then packit team also started to test things there :-)
It's running actually from machine not under warranty and we never had any backup either (it's stg, so not prod), reason why I said that it can also disappear anytime soon (in case of hardware problem, as theses nodes are 8y+ old now)
Depending on the need for it I can try to migrate it elsewhere, but it would only be used for our testing as yourself you'll migrate to gitlab.
Closing so initial request as it seems it wasn't meant to happen on git.stg.centos.org (per comment)

Sorry for the late reply. I'm still not sure if I can work on new gitlab for centos(crash utility) in the future because of the account permission issues.
After the migration, if I can access the gitlab to maintain the crash utility, that will be helpful for me. Otherwise, I can not do anything for centos due to the the account issue.
Thanks.
sorry for the trouble @lijiang
I'm gonna create a card in our board so we set up the source-git repo for you in our gitlab namespace before the official gitlab is ready, you should get a notification from jira (issues.redhat.com) since I tagged you
Thank you so much for the help, @ttomecek . I have got the notification from jira.
