Closed: Fixed by bstinson. Opened by astepano.

Hello,

For deploying ci-dashoard for centos-stream please:

  • create a new dns-zone: *.ci.centos.org.
  • delegate rights to be able edit this dns-zone for fedora-ci-admins or for me.

Please let me know if I need provide my ssh-key.

Hi :-) If possible please take a look. This would allow as to do deployment. Thank you.

How regularly do you expect to make changes? Typically we expect new DNS record requests to come in via centos-infra tickets.

@bstinson hi,

The answer is: not often.
If you prefer not to provide edit-access to dns-zone, would it be possible than add:

CNAME entries for:

  • dashboard.ci.centos.org
  • dashboard-stage.ci.centos.org
  • dashboard-db.ci.centos.org
  • dashboard-db-stage.ci.centos.org

all point to x.apps.ocp.ci.centos.org

Providing edit-access for *.ci.centos.org is also fine, up to you.

Thank you.

Hello, friendly ping :-)

Hello, is there any info I need to provide?
We need this domains even during development phase.
Please take a look.

Just so we don't have any overlap, I'm starting on the DNS entries that you mentioned but in the ci.stream.centos.org domain. So you'll have:

  • dashboard.ci.stream.centos.org
  • dashboard-stage.ci.stream.centos.org
  • dashboard-db.ci.stream.centos.org
  • dashboard-db-stage.ci.stream.centos.org

There's some work to be done so that certificates work properly in addition to the DNS entries. I'll keep this ticket updated as we go

The following domains are now pointed at the openshift cluster
- dashboard.ci.stream.centos.org
- dashboard-stage.ci.stream.centos.org
- dashboard-db.ci.stream.centos.org
- dashboard-db-stage.ci.stream.centos.org
