This project is under Virtualization SIG and aims to build and publish virtualization stack (qemu-kvm, SLOF, kernel, and other packages) on CentOS 9 Stream for ppc64le architecture.
We would like to have tags and repositories mappings for this project for CentOS Stream 9.
The tags can be named virt9s-ppc64le-{candidate,testing,release}, if that sounds appropriate.
virt9s-ppc64le-{candidate,testing,release}
Thank you!

Such proposed tags don't match the needed naming convention, so can you just ensure that it matches expectations (as it's then used in the whole pipeline to detect what to sign and where to push rpms packages)
Also waiting on SIG chair for +1 :-)
If there would just be one stream for this project, I guess something like virt9s-ppc64le-9-{candidate,testing,release} would be enough
virt9s-ppc64le-9-{candidate,testing,release}
And I guess that it would only be for ppc64le, as it's not built/supported for RHEL 9, right ?
right. about the versioning, let's wait to confirm a single stream will be provided.
@sbonazzo yeah, and eventually calling that something else than ppc64le-9 ? Just cosmetic but it would land under http://mirror.stream.centos.org/SIGs/9-stream/virt/ppc64le/ and so that would mean adding another ppc64le-9 directory, instead of something like kvm-stack ? so virt9s-kvm-stack ? or replace stack with something else but you get the idea :)
ppc64le-9
kvm-stack
virt9s-kvm-stack
Once we have info and confirmation, we can easily create the tags and for only ppc64le architecture

Thanks @arrfab for taking care of this.
I've discussed with @sbonazzo and we came up with these tag names:
virt9s-kvm-common-{candidate,testing,release}
Which would be translated to http://mirror.stream.centos.org/SIGs/9-stream/virt/ppc64le/kvm-common
+1 on virt9s-kvm-common-{candidate,testing,release} we used similar schema in CentOS Linux 7 and I'm fine with this.
Created and let me know if you need also centos9s-buildroot added but you have default repositories enabled (see below)
centos9s-buildroot
* Checking distribution el9s configuration... -> Checking virt config... Using default options for virt/kvm Creating tag : virt9s-kvm-common-candidate Creating tag : virt9s-kvm-common-testing Creating tag : virt9s-kvm-common-release -> creating virt9s-kvm-common-el9s Added external repo centos9s-baseos to tag virt9s-kvm-common-el9s-build (priority 5) Added external repo centos9s-appstream to tag virt9s-kvm-common-el9s-build (priority 10) Added external repo centos9s-crb to tag virt9s-kvm-common-el9s-build (priority 15)
Can you close this ticket if that's working for you ?

I've submitted some scratch builds to cbs and it seems to be working. Thank you!
