https://pagure.io/fedora-iot/pungi-iot/pull-request/94 should change the image in question's subvariant definition to the one this PR expects, see discussion in above PR.

Seems reasonable.

Do you think in the future we'll want to break the subvariant-repo map out into the config so we don't need to deploy code changes to update it?

historically it doesn't change that often, but it's difficult to say for the future. maybe if this happens a few more times...
