#421 Google agent packages orphaned and retired breaking GCE image

The Google agent packages (google-compute-engine-guest-configs, google-compute-engine-oslogin, google-guest-agent) were orphaned and summarily retired in Rawhide.

This breaks the builds of the GCE image. At this point we have three choices:

  • Revive these packages
  • Attempt to switch to generic cloud-init interface (which I am not sure works...)
  • Retire the GCE image

We need to figure out what to do about this as soon as possible...

I am solidly against retiring the GCE Image. I want to put some time and effort into the agent over the next couple of days..
