This should be a very simple task:
A university in India wants to hand out "Appreciation Certificates" to students who have been working on FOSS projects. They've been using Fedora, so they want to include the Fedora logo on their certificate. I have requested trademark permission and it has been granted by Red Hat, but I need the logo added to their certificate image (right now, it says [LOGO] as a placeholder).

I can take this design. Will finish with in 2 days. I think we need to design a professional looking certificate.

http://spot.fedorapeople.org/appreciation-certificate.jpg This certificate is not that good for a professional background. It is simple too.
Feel free to do a total redesign, as long as the text is the same.
I need more info
Name of the University Name of the person who award the certificate His designation
I ll leave space to write the name of the awardee.
Please hurry :)
All the information I have is on the original certificate.
Sample has been designed please comment

That looks very nice... except that you forgot to do the thing I really was asking for in the first place, which is to replace [LOGO] with the Fedora logo. :)
Final Version is released.

I think we can set the ticket to close.
The resolution of the certificate it set to A4(297x210 mm) paper size. therefore there will be no problem regarding the resolution.
Just confirmed with Spot that he has accepted the design, so closing the ticket. Great job Buddhika!
