Hi all,

thanks to bckurera, FUDCon KL now have a logo. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/File:Fudcon-kl-logo.svg

Now, we need some web banners as a promotional material. The list are:

  • button which will link to event page, maybe 216x100. we will be giving this button to supporting organizations to link back to us.
  • wide banner to be put at frontpage fedora.my. 1170px width, any height is ok.
  • "I will be going to FUDCon KL" image.

and maybe
* facebook profile header image 849x312 (nice to have)

I'm taking this. Will take a week or so. Need inputs for "Going to/Not Going to" images from team.

could we have the 2012 text smaller (or just removed altogether, or repositioned)? w.r.t to dimension, 216x100 is just a suggestion, if you think it can be better if scaled differently, feel free to use a different size.

1 question, the text kuala lumpur in the banner is wider than FUDCon, i'm wondering, is theres a particular guideline or something w.r.t font size ratio of FUDCon vs Location.

Ahh..I'll redesign it then. I just thought that 216x100 was the exact size you wanted.
And oh, I made the KL size wider than FUDCon as it wasn't visible.

I have a question too :
* Do you want the complete logo (along with skyline silhouette) visible in the button. I had trimmed some part of the FUDCon Pune logo when I did the button last time.

doesnt have to have the complete logo i guess and if repositioning the silhouette can make it looks better with the button size, then reposition it :-)

thanks .. sorry for the late reply, got busy with other stuff >.< .. the design looks good but i think there need to be a bit of margin between the fudcon logo icon and the end of the png ..

Ah! True indeed. I'll make the changes and continue with web banners design on the same lines.
