#228 Create Fedora Theme for Sticky Notes pastebin web application
Closed: Fixed Opened by duffy.

Fedora Infrastructure is looking to deploy Sticky Notes to Fedora's infrastructure. Sticky Notes is an open source pastebin web application.

There is a test instance of it available at http://dcr226.co.uk/paste/sticky-notes

If you'd prefer to set up your own instance of it to create the style sheets needed, the code is available here:

http://gitorious.org/sticky-notes

The skin should match (and ideally use the same base css as) our new Fedora infrastructure template. Two examples of sites using our new template:

https://community.dev.fedoraproject.org/packages/inkscape

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/

Clint Savage (herlo in IRC) and Kevin Fenzi (nirik in IRC) are your contacts for this ticket. If you're not sure how to get started, please talk to them in IRC. #fedora-admin in irc.freenode.net is a good place to start that conversation.

You may want to create mockups to show what it would look like and get feedback on the design-team list before diving into HTML/CSS. However, if you're more comfortable diving straight into HTML/CSS feel free.

Find Mockups attached. I wasn't sure how closely to stick to the design examples provided, so I did two variations.

Footer content is based on http://images.srv1.elrod.me/stickynotes-fedora.png

sticky-notes-v2.png seems more organized, +1

I like v2 better as well.

v2 does fit our general fedora feel a bit better. I'd go with that one, even though I really like them both.

Great work Nicole!

Thanks for your feedback, v2 it is! I will start on the HTML/CSS

I've created sticky-notes skin based on v2 mockup, it still needs some fixes and cleanups (css was based on koji's), also sticky-notes does not generate css for active tab so we can't distinguish active tabs (if it really a requirement I can patch sticky-notes, I already maintain it in fedora)
