I have the original SVG from which I declined all the logo used by my apps (elections, nuancier, pkgdb, fedocal...) and in none of these apps the sub-title is in capital letters.

IIRC it's Mo who provided me with the original design and I must say I'm not a huge fan of having the sub-title in capital especially with the size/font presented here, it just blows up the sub-title.

Can we find a middle ground?

I think the size here is too large for Nuancier, but I don't think I would have created the current logo bc we don't normally have mixed caps on Fedora sublogos (eg see the guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo/UsageGuidelines#Fedora_Sub-Logos:_Standard_uses_of_the_Fedora_Logo_with_other_elements)

pingou, if the letters are scaled down appropriately would that be okay for you? "Supplemental Wallpapers" is really long, so we could scale it down more than the sublogo template dictates. Or we could even change it to "Wallpaper Voting" or something shorter? Are you open to that?

on second thought - let's drop this ticket for now. as we're building out Fedora hubs and developing Fedora-bootstrap and our new app look & feel guidelines, we'll want to do an en masse logo update. Closing this.
