I'm trying to do some good recordkeeping here so we can be better prepared for next Flock. (heh, we say this every year.)

I just went into the registration system and saw that as of now, about 1 month before the conference, there are 204 registrants. 91 of those 204 have requested funding - I don't know how many are funded. We tend to order some extras when having items printed (sometimes we get walk-ins or ppl who didn't bother to register) so I'm asking for quotes for 250 for the booklets and lanyard badges.

So here is the list of quotes I asked Kveta to get us. I don't know who is managing the T-shirts but that isn't included here. I may add it if I find nobody's on it.

We don't have our designs ready yet; for the lanyard badges we just need to know the sizing requirements from the vendor (and if they can do them) so we can make a design to fit. The other stuff, we know the specs we want, and need a price quote. We need all items on site in Krakow by August 1.

So here's the stuff we're looking to get done, in order of most complex to least complex. Can you get us a quote for each of these?

1) Flock conference booklet:

2) Flock conference lanyard badges

• We don't know what specs the printer can do with this one. Just looking for some pre-printed and some blank cards in a lanyard badge pocket or laminated cards with a whole punch for lanyard to be made up. Does the vendor do this, and if so, what are their size requirements? We'd like ones similar to what was available at DevConf.

Okay, so I found out some other things just now:

• The public registration list doesn't list all registrants. Some are excluded if they opt out for privacy reasons.
• We currently have 242 registrants.
• 106 of those registrants requested a travel subsidy
• There are a least a few accepted, funded speakers who have not registered.

So I'm upping the quotes to ask for 280 copies of the booklet and lanyard badges.

Everything is sent as of last night. It's July 21 and the conference starts Aug 2. I think most if not all of the items are going to be put on the bus in Brno and brought over to Krakow. We'll see how it goes.
