I sent an photo to supplemental wallpaper election with an wrong aspect ratio. So I've sent another one with the correct aspect ratio updating my first submission. It's taking an month since when I updated my submission and I'm still waiting for the review.
(the submission was denied in 2017-02-08 17:42:31, and after 3 days I sent an update, today is 2017-03-13)
The submission ends next week, so I'm afraid that if the review finish too close to the end of the submission date, I can't be able to reach the photographer so we can fix the problem if is something wrong with the submission.
I know you have much work to do and a lot of more important things to take care of, but can you check my submission this week so I can take an action if something is wrong with it?
Interesting stories you telling here, like always a bit untrue. You did submit two in the first place, one got denied and its technical impossible to have more as 2 submissions, rejected ones still count. So you had 2 submissions, how can you have another one??
Do your own work instead of pushing others to do theirs

I didn't submitted two times, I submitted one time for this F26 supplemental wallpapers election, the first one was denied because the aspect ratio was incorrect. the second time I sent the photo was an update for the first submission. Not an new submission.
Can you please check my submission again? I sent another photo (not a new submission) update with correct aspect ratio.
Thank you.

Like in the description of the screen-shot above: "Listed below are the candidates that you have submitted and their status. This gives you the possibility to update your submission based on the feedback you have received if you like. "
and so I did a month ago, you denied my submission with feedback that the aspect ratio was wrong and I updated my submission with the correct aspect ratio.

Hi! I thought it was better to save another ticket since I have a similar case. None of my submissions were declined, but they are pending for quite some time. It would be nice if you can look at my situation as you look at the fredlima's ticket. Thank you!
it seems you have a bit of a problem, so now I rejected I am not willing to do for somebody like you who twists the truth always a bit so that it fits his needs more work as I have to do anyway.
CC is not a license, its a set of licenses I am not willing to discuss with the author which one he has chosen. So therefor I rejected it now. If there would be lesser people like you fredlima, taking care of the things they do and do them right, like reading the regulations and not submit simple something it would go faster.
Its not just CC, its licensed CC-BY
URL of the image for the f26 election: http://dreamypixel.com/spring-reflections-lake-jasna/
On the F25 election you approved this foto: http://dreamypixel.com/milky-way-over-mangart-mountain/ And it is the same page just the photo are different, and you approved for the F25 election and we won the election.
What changed from F25 election to F26 that you can't approve my submission even with the submission following with the rules?
CC-BY is a good license and was accepted on my submission for F25 election by you. The rules changed? I don't think so: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Licensing:Main?rd=Licensing#Good_Licenses_3
The same page, nothing changes, just the picture. Why are you doing this?
And there's an option to choose CC-BY on nuancier

You said:
CC is not a license, its a set of licenses
and the photographer said in the photo website that it's under CC-BY license (in bold):
This image is licensed under Creative Commons (CC-BY) license.
So your feedback (not properly licensed, possible dual licensing) is not valid.
one more thing: Remember one of the Fedora Project foundations: Friends.
There's a bit of context missing from this ticket and I think some misunderstandings. We had a conversation between all parties in IRC this morning and I think we walked through the entire issue from both sides, including the supplemental wallpaper guidelines and policies as well as the background behind those policies (volunteer effort, high volume of submissions, past abuse / spam of the system, licensing issues wrt 3rd party submissions), and we concluded the best way forward right now is to hold this submission off until the next (F27) cycle.
I am now closing this ticket. Please don't re-open it without consulting with me. Please reach out to me privately with any concerns or questions.
