https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bugzilla_Desktop_Client
We are looking to write a client from scratch or modify the bug buddy client to suit our needs. The target audience is primarily end users who want to interactively report a bug (Excluding crashes etc detected by bug buddy or abrt) on a system that is facing the problem.
Most of the bugs are against a top few components (kernel, firefox, yum etc) and it is not reasonable to expect users to necessarily understand the exact component (only source packages are listed in bugzilla). We can collect the logs, hardware details etc and be more intelligent because it is a desktop client. The challenge is to make the process very simple while leaving enough room for other more expert users to report a bug as well. We want the ability to report the bug against a specific component if the user understands the details but the application itself is oriented towards non technical users.
This gui should looks as much as to keep the threshold of learning as low as possible and to keep familiarity between bugzilla and the client it self encase the reporter needs to interact with maintainer through upstream bugzilla See for the new simple design http://lpsolit.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/simple_bug_filing_form.png

The app is hosted at https://fedorahosted.org/boog/
One can see screenhots for the command-line version in http://www.flickr.com/photos/kushaldas/sets/72157622079091543/
Hey have you guys worked with the ABRT folks at all? They opened up an earlier ticket, they are working on a similar client: https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/50
Rahul,
Just wondering if this usability review is still required, or does the usability updates to ABRT as discussed in https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/180 cover this issue.
Is the Boog project still under active development?

This project seems not not be in active development anymore.
Closing as WONTFIX, please reopen this ticket if further work is required.
