The current design SIG's doc page https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-join/ has 3 images that try to capture the essence of the group. Although a very kind contributor made it for us, it doesn't seem very Fedora Design team approved.

reason

Having a good design on the landing page of special interest group that's purposed to help newcomers will help. Apart from the UX reasons, the picture used in a SIG should also be suited to Fedora's palette and approved from the design team

recommendation

Replace the image with more suitable design, font and color. We are more than happy to accept concept improvements as well, but if that seems trouble, just re-factoring it will also work

I wasn't quite sure how to go about this one, so I've done two ideas. The first concept I tried to make it similar to the one we already have, apart from some tweaks, and the second one I tried to focus more on what the purpose of the group is.

I prefer Concept 2 because it is less text-heavy. Many people are not native English speakers, so I generally prefer more pictures and images, and less text. That said, I do like both. :)

In a perfective of a non-native English speaker like I'm I prefer the Concept No. 2 less invasive

Yep. The concept 2 is better (less phrases).
In addition, I don't know what is the @siddharthvipul1's idea, I would tend for a banner style (rectangular) instead of a square. WDYT?
