Headings and titles also don’t need standard punctuation — they don’t need a period (“.” or full-stop), but question marks and sporadic exclamation points are okay when appropriate. Body text and full sentences always need a period.
Footers are the first thing a user will see when they get lost in the website. To solve this: Avoid punctuation in the links, especially periods. Keep headings or titles short and descriptive of content within them.
