#738 Headings and titles also don’t need standard punctuation
Closed: Invalid by duffy. Opened by riyajawandhiya.

This is taken from the website's footer (https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/)
remove full stop from links as that is considered to be rude.
A Binghamton University research team found that text messages ending in the most final of punctuation marks are perceived as being less sincere.

reason

Headings and titles also don’t need standard punctuation — they don’t need a period (“.” or full-stop), but question marks and sporadic exclamation points are okay when appropriate. Body text and full sentences always need a period.

recommendation

Footers are the first thing a user will see when they get lost in the website.
To solve this:
Avoid punctuation in the links, especially periods. Keep headings or titles short and descriptive of content within them.
