The Polish Fedora community on Telegram needs a logo graphic. @lami07 has volunteered to create one so assigning to him.
Some things to note: - We shouldn't be adding elements to or modifying the core Fedora logo unless we have a standardized clean way of doing so across regional communities that will work well for all of them. - For legal reasons, we do not use country flags. Color schemes may be ok. - We should be tracking other related community designs such as https://pagure.io/design/issue/730 (Fedora Mexico community), https://pagure.io/design/issue/756 (Moje Fedora)
Some of the conversation @mleonova and I had around enabling region-specific logos was following the model of Duolingo and how Duolingo treats individual language communities under the broader Duolingo community - a common mascot that gets "dressed up" to represent each respective community. Eg
This is our new panda design: https://pagure.io/design/issue/718
So I think the next step would be to think of what sorts of clothing or representative objects could we have the panda use to represent Poland?
One additional specification to note here is that Telegram avatars are 512px by 512px and may be circularly cropped.
This is just a prototype, we can add more color elements to further make it look more attractive. Idea was to give panda an old age polish culture. It is in circular form to fit right into the telegram channel. Hope it fits well with your criteria, any feedback would be of great help. @robert111 are you coordinating with @lami07 ?
