Can't reproduce with gnome-calendar-43.1-2,
FinalBlocker -1
I can't reproduce this bug.
I can reproduce this all the time. Maybe it's because my Calendar is synced with Google.
FinalBlocker +1
I had added a google account to my calendar for testing, can't reproduce
I can easily reproduce this bug. gnome-calendar-43.1-1.fc37.x86_64 & gnome-calendar-43.1-3.fc37.x86_64 (updates-testing repo)
I have no synchronized accounts.
@carlg are you facing the same issue (event duplication) as described in gitlab or you have a different problem with syncing your calendar?
@frantisekz @carlg @augenauf if you can describe your setup in the upstream issue that might help the GNOME folks figure out what's going on here.
I'm going to hold off on voting until the conditions that lead to this behavior are more clear.

This is the difference: "Also, it's strange: the duplicates appears in the week view but not in the month one."
I can replicate the issue if I switch to the Week view. I have google calendar sync in place.
My vote still stands, however.
Switching to "week view", I can reproduce the bug. That's what makes the difference.
For me the bug also appeared for the local offline calendar (without any online calendars being synced / removed on Gnome Online accounts).
Can probably be fixed with an update, nobody is going to use the Calendar from a live system.
This one is really iffy. The basic functionality test is inevitably a tricky question of how basic is the functionality. Sometimes it's not very clear. Although I do want to release, multiplying calendar events feels like a little too much for my comfort.
duplicate entries also appear in the month view, on the left side:
@augenauf I meant that an online account is not necessary (to facilitate debugging/QA).
@nb @geraldosimiao I'm interested in the reason for your -1 votes. I'm not sure where I stand on this myself, so I want to gather as much argument for and against as I can.
I had been consistently seeing the bug until this morning. To try to reproduce the bug, I upgraded two other machines to F37 and gnome 43.1 and can't reproduce the bug on either of them. Some other update may have fixed it.
I was up with the comments about how basic is the functionality, "Can probably be fixed with an update" and "how many are going to use the Calendar from a live system".
Yeah, I tested the new RC iso (1.7) and i can't reproduce the bug. This compose have gnome-calendar-43.1-3.fc37
@geraldosimiao - Saw your post and confirm I can't reproduce the bug either with the live boot Fedora-Workstation-Live-37-1.7.
As I noted above, I can't reproduce it now on a machine where it consistently happened until today or on 2 others that I upgraded today to try to reproduce it.
