I proposed it as blocker because this happens on KDE spin, wich is a blocker release, and its a violation of Beta criterion "The release must be able host virtual guest instances of the same release", on the basis that VMs which auto-suspend after 15 minutes and cannot be resumed are not really working.

Its the same issue we saw at last release at workstation and accepted as blocker. The fix was really a workaround applied only in gnome (see this comment on the ticket => https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2180047#c4 ) so KDE spin (and the others too) still affected by the bug.

I agree with Geraldo: "VMs which auto-suspend after 15 minutes and cannot be resumed are not really working"

At @petersen 's suggestion, let's revote this one: it kinda makes more sense for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2232711 to be a blocker, that's a dedicated bug for disabling auto-suspend on KDE VMs, which is likely the most realistic way we can address the underlying problem in the short term. I suggest we reject this one as a blocker but accept the other one.

REVOTE BetaBlocker

OK, lets make the change.

Seems reasonable

Okay, let's make #1196 the blocker.
