A quick example: BetaBlocker +1 (where the tracker name is one of BetaBlocker/FinalBlocker/BetaFE/FinalFE/0Day/PreviousRelease and the vote is one of +1/0/-1)


Should this perhaps be a freeze exception instead?

This is probably an annoying issue, but at least in Czech, it can be easily overridden by using the Shift+DeadKey+Key to produce the uppercase accented letter, for instance Shift+ˇ+c to produce č. The percentage of uppercase letters that one uses is much lower than lowercase ones, and the accented only make like 30% of them.
Therefore I do not believe that this is "that serious". Of course, it would be nice to fix.
