(I don't think the affected apps are part of the default package set, however, we'd turned off updates-testing in F39, and it may take a while before users notice, and it doesn't seem nice to leave them with multiple crashing applications).
Yes, when updates-testing switched off on my computer, I could not even install Kdenlive.
