I'm unclear on the FE rationale here. Is the intent to rebuild mesa and put it in Beta? I thought we weren't doing that? If not, why does this need an FE?
Feels to me like this could be handled in a post release update.

I think "This could speedup things for these who interested in testing NVK with upcoming Mesa 24.1" its not a criterion for a FE, or is it?
