The decision to classify this bug as a "RejectedFreezeException (Final)" was made as the proposal here provides no real justification for a freeze exception, and the request is to pull in a major new release with an unclear backwards compatibility status and some slightly odd test results. This is rejected for now, but can be proposed again with a clearer justification.
