Justification: this update massively shortens build times by reducing time wasted on generating debuginfo for static packages. For some affected packages, it cuts down the time by an hour or even more. If we need to rebuild packages, it's much nicer to to do this with this update.
Ok, so IIUIC, this doesn't affect compose times, but affects how long packages are built in Koji, correct? In that case, I can see why this is good to have fixed as soon as possible:
Just a quick comment that the update for f43 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-50a0376e48 is stuck in test gating since testing farm isn't available for f43 yet. So if we do want this update to go into f43 someone will have to wave the test results first. @mcermak
