As document scanner is not part of the default application functionality criteria and we dropped the all pre-installed apps must work criteria. I am -1 for blocker but would still like to see this fixed as added a FE.

I am glad the bug will get fixed in time before F43 release. I disagree with the approach of shipping apps that don't work - it damages the reputation of Fedora. IMO, it would be better to exclude non-functional apps from the default install. It's better not being there instead of promising something that it can't hold up to. Anyway, I guess that needs to be discussed elsewhere.

That's normal. Most people don't ever report anything. It's fine, they are general users. We rely on the 1% of enthusiasts to receive useful information (there's higher signal-to-noise ratio from them, also). If even they can't report bugs, then we have 0 bugs in bugzilla... and are happy, I guess?
Btw, Abrt sends FAF reports even without bz apikey, that's needed just for the full report.
