A quick example: BetaBlocker +1 (where the tracker name is one of BetaBlocker/FinalBlocker/BetaFE/FinalFE/0Day/PreviousRelease and the vote is one of +1/0/-1)


There is a potential of regressions since this is a bigger update, but we still have time. PackageKit 1.3.1 is also already used by many other distributions, such as Debian (including the recently released Debian Stable).

I prefer freeze exceptions to have a specific functional justification, not just "number go up". What specific functional improvement do we gain by shipping 1.3.1 that is greater than the risk of changing PK during the freeze?

I think that there were some performance improvements and bug fixes, but nothing specific.

It seems this package would soon be pushed to stable, since we're not at freeze anymore (until 10-07)

I'm not seeing a compelling reason for this to be a FE.
