I'm a bit unsure whether this change was just approved by FESCo (therefore we accept it as a freeze exception), or actually required by FESCo (therefore we accept it as a blocker, no voting needed).
Adam marked it as a freeze exception request only, so let's do that: FinalFE +1 AGREED AcceptedFinalFreezeException
