FinalBlocker +1

based on https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_43_Final_Release_Criteria#Pre-release_notices for IoT. The criterion says "on release-blocking desktops" and I think that's a mistake, it should've said "release-blocking images".

FinalBlocker +1

I feel the same way and that is the criteria under which I submitted the bug. Can I vote on my own bug?

I'm pretty sure we meant the current criterion to be read as:

  1. No notices or alerts about pre-release status may be shown as part of installation
  2. No notices or alerts about pre-release status may be shown as part of or critical path actions on release-blocking desktops

But yes, it's a bit ambiguous, and we could still probably say images not desktops. I think the idea was it's unlikely there'd be any pre-release notices after install on a non-desktop setup, but that doesn't seem like a safe assumption. I'll try and draft a revision later.

I do think the current criterion covers this already, so:
FinalBlocker +1
