I agree with the rationale in the ticket. Sticking modifiers is bad. Probably a failure of the default panel functionality criteria.

Looks like it might be fixed upstream.

Today I found out that if Alt gets stuck, your clicks in Firefox doesn't seem to do anything. E.g. clicking on a link doesn't open it. It's very confusing, until I remember that probably a modifier is stuck again, I touch the keyboard, and then finally clicking hyperlinks works again.

Similarly, in Nautilus, when I had Ctrl stuck, clicking on files would add them to selection, instead of selecting just that single file. If I didn't notice, I could have deleted multiple files in error.
