I don't think fan speed increase during certain times counts as a blocker.

The person also mentions inability to resume from hibernate (not official supported) and sleep (this one is), and that sound more serious, but that only seems to be a side note, and we would need to debugging info to consider the impact.
rather an inconvenience than a release blocker.
