FinalBlocker +1

The summary doesn't really reflect the blockerness of it, but the effect of breaking nouveau drivers is definitely Bad.

It seems that Radeon/Nouveau systems don't boot now. This is very bad:

FinalBlocker +1

Sigh, the situation doesn't look as clear-cut anymore. It seems that most Radeon/Nouveau systems are likely not affected, perhaps just in some corner cases. Debugging is still happening.

FinalBlocker +1

Willing to re-evaluate once the fog has risen.

While it is feeling a bit like an edge case of installed systems, I definitely think it is worth being cautious here. Voting under the Release-blocking images must boot criteria.
