I agree that security updates are important, but this seems to be more than just a security patch. Tentatively:

@gui1ty "0Day" means a blocker that has to be resolved on release day, not that it should be an update that goes out on release day.

The decision to classify this bug as an "AcceptedFreezeException (Final)" was made as this addresses three security issues, we see benefit to getting it in the buildroot (i.e. pushing it through stable) ASAP, so further builds of Go-based packages are protected against those issues.
