I guess this should get the same treatment as GNOME mega-update? But this is really last-moment. Opposing thoughts?
BetaFE +1
yeah I'm kinda unenthusiastic about this. The GNOME folks at least communicate the schedule and plans well in advance - we'd heard from them that they wanted to get 3.38 in if we slipped several days ago. This just kinda...showed up.
We have 5.19.4 already, this 5.19.5 point update is basically the final bug fix version we expect to have for F33 development (to GA) unless KDE upstream makes another bug fix release for some reason. To be clear, there is no plans to do a rebase to 5.20 during F33 development, since release date is too close to F33 GA.
so it can just go in as a 0-day update and be fine too, right? :)
Sure, I suppose. Though I would like our beta media to actually have the version of Plasma we want to ship for GA, since we don't really make any other public release development media prior to final release.
BetaFE -1 46 packages. Two weeks in testing, still 0 karma. It's pretty late and this has potential for regressions.
